Vacancy  Service Managers

Additional help and support is available through Vacancy Service Managers. They are your named contact. They will make sure you recieve the services available through Jobcentre Plus to fill your vacan. They will keep in regular contact, where until the vacancy is filled to;

  • Discuss progress

  • Make sure that we have delivered a high level of service, checking that you are satisfied with the final outcome.

Marketing Support for Employers with less than 250 Employees 

Alan Harrison is the Marketing Manager for Knowsley. He is based at Jobcentre Plus, Huyton. Alan will be pleased to offer you advice regarding the assistance Jobcentre Plus can offer. Account Support; Employers with More than 250 Employees 

For employers with more than 250 employees the District has a dedicated Field Account Manager (FAM). The FAM for Greater Mersey District is Gaynor Lambert. She will work with you to agree a level of service, such as seeing whether tailored recruitment packages are necessary. She will also work with our advisers to give them a greater underdtanding of your needs so we can better match the jobseekers we see to your requirements.

Disability Services 

We provide a wide range of services to help you find the right people for your vaccancies. Through our Disability Employment Advisers , we will be pleased to provide advice and guidance to help you employ disabled people with the right skills and abilities for your organisation. They can offer expert advice on;

  • Developing good employer practises around disability;

  • Keeping employees who become disabled;

  • Financial help which may be available to help you employ a disabled person;

  • Becoming a user of the Disability Symbol

WiN:

From April 2004 Working Neighbourhood pilots began in twelve of the most deprived neighbourhoods in the UK The pilots deliver a new approach, offering intensive support to residents within the pilot neighbourhoods, to enable them to overcome their individual barriers and move into employment. Knowswsley is one of the selected areas and the electoral wards of Northwood and Tower Hill in Kirkby have been identified as the areas of Knowsley where the WIN pilot will target support. Jobcentre Plus funds the project.

Personal advisers will offer in work support to both customers and their employers when customers start work, to ensure that the job is sustainable to meet both the customers and employer's needs.
