The council’s commitment to sustainable development is outlined in Knowlsey’s Tomorrow, the Borough’s Local Agenda 21 Strategy, which is linked to the Corporate Plan and Community Plan. In addition, the Council’s Environmental Policy outlines a commitment to reduce the impact of our services and operations on the environment.

Purchasing policies will reflect the Council’s commitment to sustainable development, and be developed with regard to the Environmental Policy.
